Job Description

THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacancies in RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE PROGRAM AEC EEC.1Y for the WINTER 2026 Semester January – May 2026 (RRB 25) DAY program (Monday-Friday 9:00- 12:00, 1:00 - 4:00 pm).

TYPE OF CONTRACTS: CHARGE DE COURS (À LA LEÇON) (1-2.12) 
COURSE: 221-206-AB*
TITLE: Residential Real Estate Appraisal
HOURS: 60
SECTION(S): one (1) 

DISCLAIMER: Courses will be offered in a hybrid format until further notice.

BUILDING AND PUBLIC WORKS (221)

Bachelor’s or equivalent ** degree in an appropriate field
OR
AEC in Real Estate with 5 – 7 years’ pertinent experience.
**    Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems

AND

•    Several years related teaching experience at the post – secondary level PREFERRED.
•    Bilingualism (English/French) and ability to teach in French are preferred, as in the context of Bill 96 and the changes to the Charte de la langue française, if there is a need, the candidate must be willing and able to teach in French.
 

*In addition to basic requirements above, candidates must be:
Current members in good standing with Professional order or association for the following courses:
• 221-206-AB

N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date, day/time and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.

Note: In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC. Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional/industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
