Job Description

THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacancies in RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE PROGRAM AEC EEC.1Y (RRB 25) for the WINTER 2026 Semester from January to May. Full time day program (Monday -Friday 9am -12pm, 1pm-4pm)

TYPE OF CONTRACTS: CHARGE DE COURS (À LA LEÇON) (1-2.12)
COURSE: 221-208-AB
TITLE: Residential Real Estate Brokerage Contracts
HOURS: 60
SECTION(S): one (1)

N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date, day/time and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.

QUALIFICATIONS: BUILDING AND PUBLIC WORKS TECHNOLOGY (221) - REAL ESTATE
Bachelor's or equivalent * degree in an appropriate field
OR
AEC in Real Estate with 5 7 years' pertinent experience.
* Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems

AND

  • Several years related teaching experience at the post secondary level PREFERRED.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) and ability to teach in French are preferred, as in the context of Bill 96 and the changes to the Charte de la langue française, if there is a need, the candidate must be willing and able to teach in French.

Note: In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional/industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
